Has anyone made a late model IS valence / lip work w/ euro bumps?

i need to make something happen w/ my car. My 87 is lip is falling off and wont work with my euro bumps. Euro valences\lips are fn expensive. What are my alternatives?

Late model valence with Euro bumps, huh? Yeah, I've done it.

Difficulty level? How did it turn out looking?

I can see a gap between the bumper and the fender.... ehhhhh. Good idea, just seems like the fitment is off.

I cant picture it being any harder to install than if you would with plastic bumpers. You'd just have to use whatever bumper shocks the euro bumper would carry.

put a late model valence under the diving board. You just have to cut off the tow hooks. It looks great and is cheaper than euros.

edit: ahhh, you already have the euro bumps. Maybe try an early, non-IS valence

Not quite. It's a bit more work. The Euro bumpers are skinnier than both the diving boards and the plastic bumpers. I had to cut the valence in half, remove some of the material to shorten it, and reweld it together.

Ohh, and for the record, I took that picture above literally right after I installed the valence/bumper as you can probably tell from the missing foglights/brake ducts/oil cooler grill, so yes, the fitment was a little off.

I had no idea the euro valences and lips were expensive.

I'm planning on selling mine, but with the front and rear bumps. Pretty cheap.

Its a forged 2.7 with the tcd stage 2, coilovers, 5 lug bbk etc. I don't like his exterior style much, but he didn't fuck around with the mechanical part.

this would look awesome without the red grill. edit - should have left the kidneys chrome too. to each his own.

Yes it does!!! That car is pretty bad ass from what I have seen. People may not like the red grills...but something tells me that it is not the front of the car you will be seeing the most of!

Here is my car with the stock US valance and lip. I think it looks pretty good. You should have that valance under your early front spoiler, but with some extra mounting holes in it. You would just need an 87 i lip.
