    my lazy ass cant find the search button.

    how final hp does the Mark D chip gives stock 325i.

    and how realistic is it to grind out 200HP without adding a turbo in a m20?. and not killing fuel economy. other than just doing the M50 swap+ chip.

    Well, without FI or Nitrous, you'll be looking at some serious cams, ITB's, headwork, that kind of stuff. Not really a cost-efficient way to make power.

    And go look at Mark D's site.

      The only way to get 200hp from an m20 would be some kind of higher CR pistons or stroker me thinks.

              200 at the crank I think. He was around 200/200, but that was with 15% added IIRC.

                Try a schrick cam, ECU tuning and a well flowing exhaust and you MIGHT get 200bhp. I am making 240 whp (dyno dynamics) with a basic turbo setup @ 10psi with a stock m20b25 that is tired as hell running on MSnS. I don't like stupid bolt on mods. You really don't notice much of a change.

                    i dont say 13mpg (being modest, highway mpg) is killing fuel economy......at 15psi its a well rounded trade off. turn the boost down and ure fuel economy goes back up :-)
