I look at them here at work almost every day along with E46 M3's and E39 M5's as well as all my other favorite saved searches on AutoTrader.com. I see S52's going from the mid teens into the twenties and the S54's going from the mid twenties and up up up..

A friend just sent me the link to this one last night, albeit, it's not an M Coupe:

...and here is a local friend's unbelievably nasty M Coupe...

I will definitely own a Coupe someday, I'm leaning towards a 2.8i considering it doesn't have any ///M-specific parts.

i will own one, but for the price i have been toying with the idea of buying a z3 coupe non M and just working it up. Seems like a much more inexpensive way to go and get exactly what you want.

just a few more years and i will be doing this

Yeah, I mean the 2.8i is factory rated at 193 bhp, the S52 is 240 bhp. A few bolt-ons would make those numbers line up. However, the brakes and the chassis stiffness in the ///M Coupe would be pretty noticeable.

Still, for ~$10k, a Z3 Coupe makes a lot of sense.

^ Yeah they do. The Z4 has GORGEOUS lines overall, but here and there, there are a few of BMWs "flame surfacing" lines which seem a little unnecessary and look like sheetmetal creases. Sexy, but not any sexier than a Z3 coupe IMO

The Z4's ass end looks very nice. I like the Z3's front more, though...

Both of them are beautiful cars, and I would not object to owning either.

                          Ahhh, thank you.

But yes, either one would make a fantastic ride.

My moms got a z3 3.0 (post buttlift) which is pretty damn fun. Havent driven a 4 though to compare it to. And its not a coupe :(

I've always wanted one, but I've read that they are notorius for
issues with the rear subframe. :(

Not all of them do, i forget the details, but for most of them the bushings just wear like e30s.

There's a big article on BF.c about it
