Hey guys, I need a favor.
I currently have about 3500 CDs ripped into my computer. All from either real CDs, or direct copies of real CDs.
I use Windows Media Player to rip: I have found this to be the best sound quality of any common compression format (yeah, I would love to use Ogg Vorbis, but show me a car deck that plays them!)
What I would like you to do for me is to rip a couple of CDs into your PC using Windows Media, with the bit rate set to 192 and "Copy Protection" off.
Burn this to a CD, in .WMA format, preferably using Nero. Play it in your Pioneer car stereo.
Tell me if you hear any odd clicks or pops...I am having trouble making disks that work well in Pioneer decks. They are fine in any other brand of deck, or so it seems.
Thanks!
Luke
