    Hole in the Floor....

My car has a hole in the floor on the space between the driver seat and the front driver side window, close to the driver's seat belt area. looks like some screw is missing. the hole doesnt look like it was drilled or a damaged in the body. anybody has an idea what this is or what is the part number for the bolt needed for this hole? cant find it in realoem.com...thanks!

There is a bar that the bottom of the seat belt attatches to. That is where the bar goes. That is the only thing that goes where you have a hole.

If it's a 2dr it mounts to the floor on that bar, a 4dr mounts to the seat...

That hoel looks like it's for the floor mount bar for the seat belt... the floor pans are the same on a 2dr and 4dr.

on my 4dr there were these plastic type threaded screws in it.

Maybe someone drilled it for a harness?

Looks like he has a 4dr so there shouldn't be a hole there.

It is bolted right to the floor where your hole is. I guess the 4 doors have it mounted differently than the 2 door cars. I have a 2 door so I do not know how yours should be but it was stated and you stated that the 4 door location is slightly different. Does the hole have threds? I bet it was a normal part of manufacture to make the hole and they did not happen to need them on the 4 doors so they just plugged it off. This was mentioned eairlier in this thread. I know you have nothing to worry about because this is not a rust hole:o;).

The 4 dr it is mounted to the side of the seat I know I just recently took seats out of a 4dr...

That hole is there for the seat bar on a 2dr, as the floor pans on a 2dr and 4dr r the same... there should be a screw type plug in that hole.

                    ... OR DO I NEED 2 REPEAT MYSELF AGAIN ? :) :P
