Not easy, its a pita, but entirely possible.

undo engine mounts, jack up on alt/ps brackets, stick blocks of wood under mounts, go to work.

Hoist, not required but nice. I like a tool I made that sets 2 pads in the groove the fender bolts to the unibody on, then runs a 2" box tube between them - I set it just forward of the shock towers.

I then run the threaded rods down the guides & can catch the picks for the motor in the hooked ends. Pull up/tighten the nuts & it takes weight off the motor & lets you drop the subframe. Motor doesn't move at all, so no shiften the motor to re-align on install.

If anyone cares I can post a pic, just a total homebuilt tool I made that fits pretty much any car.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

so fuckin frustrating trying to get the pan back on. Figured out I just had to move the wheel a little bit since it was hitting a steering hose going to the rack.

Now its even more fuckin frustrating trying to get the oil pump back on...

on top of that all the silicon dried up and I don’t feel like getting it all off.
If I ever do it it on I bet its going to leak like a bitch cause of the dried up shit

OTC makes a few different versions of this, 2 and 3 legged. Very handy.

i did my first one not long ago. if i remember correctly i unbolted the control arm bushings and kind of pried on the subframe while i slipped the pan in.

                      still a massive bitch, though.

Getting the pan on is the easy part.. getting the fucking oil fuckin pump bolted back on with that stupid ass mother fuckin rod in place with no god damn room to do anything is the fucking bitch. I want to shove it down someone’s throat right now. On top of that I have a fuckin college math test tomorrow which I haven’t had any time to for study due to this fuckin piece of shit car that I love and I also have absolutely no way of getting to there. FUCK

To save me time, that's a heck of a lot like what I made - I made the legs taller to do some small amount of articulation, but that's pretty much like what I made back in my Corrado ownership days.

Thanks for posting, saves me some legwork.
