Not sure, but I thought they only made a 318is in 91. Maybe this is one brought over from Europe?

Probably just a left over. Get the vin number you will have the exact date produced.

It is not special. I have a 91 318i as well, originally sold in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1991 (in other words not a euro model) and produced 9/1990

Your prospect has ugly tails, no foglights/foglight covers and questionable headlights. Other than that it looks alright. edit: I'd be very surprised if it had leather (as the ad says). The 318i is a base model car -- vinyl seats.
