Yeah, obviously the market for such wheels wasn't the ultra-performance crowd.

I remember there was a set on a late 80's chev cavalier - I doubt they were a 5 bolt though.

Also seems like 50 series tires were still quite cutting edge when the Bears came out too, to give a bigger picture of the wheel & tire market back then.

    Bears on a M3 - you're a sick monkey Rey.

Polar bear says, "I only drink the blood of my enemies."

Whomever painted those panda's did an amazing job. After painting mine a few times, I must say if you have the time to paint them that nice... you need a life.

Ok, fine you're right. I was impatient and finger painting is only fun for so long.

Wow - I'm impressed you were willing to go $300, let alone that not being enough. I guess this guy is expecting top $$ from some new Beetle owner or something.

Maybe they did a 5 to 4 lug swap using isuzu components.

i want a set of beat up ones of these really bad. I'd get high and paint each like a different kind of bear. 1 panda, 1 evil, 1 carebear and 1 polar bear. Money is tight right now though and it'd be a shame to pay a premium for nice ones with good paint just to throw some really badly painted bear art on em :)

Fucker! - you bit my idea. I was going to do a black bear, a Kodiak/brown, a Panda, and a polar bear. I just kept it to myself. J/K, I am surprised anyone else thought the same thing though.

I'm 5 lug so I never would have gotten a set myself.

Yeah, I know, but the Panda colored one would look cool on an AWII M3. Or how about a full glossy black bear with red eyes? Just wishing...lol.

That would be pretty killer - nothing like blowing around someone them when they catch up they see you're rockin' the Care Bears. Sickly funny.

Rey - a Panda paintjob would be a strangely good fit on a AW car - I'm starting to think there's a lot of ways to paint the bears to make them work with whatever you have - black bears with death red eyes would work on a DS car, Kodiak browns on a Bronzit.....lots of ways to go the more I think of it.

Would be funny if Ronal had to re-issue the bears due to demand from the E30 crowd. Too bad they couldn't get new price for 'em.
