    s14 in a 92 318

    is it straight forward? also, does the tranny (from the 92 m42) bolt right up to the s14?

    I know the trans is not the same. The bell housing is much larger on the trans for the S-14.

      No, not at all. You'll need everything: engine, engine accessories, cooling system, tranny, driveshaft, wiring harness, and ECU. It's smart to also swap in the larger rear diff and half-shafts (the tiny 318is parts won't last long).
