    pre 88 Tranny

Whats the going rate for a pre 88 such as a 1984-1986 maybe 87 transmission with under 120k miles.

My trans is old and worn out and im looking around for a new one that is a bit younger.

A 1987 325i tranny will not work for an Eta correct?

I am hoping to find an tranny with atleast less then 100k but i doubt it but then again im not in a hurry i have lots of time to look and will probably swap trannys mid summer.

You need the tranny from an E car because the I tranny won't have the holes for the sensors.

Yeah, the one I have shifts well, as far as the previous owner could tell. And he is a car guy so he should know, as well as BMWCCA member.

It is from an eS, so it should all work out.
