Window only works with door open.

My drivers side front window only works when i open the door. I took the switch out and cleaned it but no change. Any ideas?

Check the wires going into the door, it sounds like you might have a short.

sounds like a regulator to me. Had the same prob a couple of years ago. Regulator was on it's way out
