    N00b Alert

    Hi all, this is my 1st post here. My name is Beau and I just got my 1st BMW, a 1989 325is. My brother has a few BMW's and his girlfriend who posts on here has one too so they kinda got me hooked. I had a 2001 SVT Cobra w/ Vortech, fully forged motor, etc..but it was stolen in mid-august so I'm going in a different direction now.
    Anyways I've been reading some threads on here to learn BMW specific stuff, these are pretty neat cars!

              Welcome, and sorry to hear about the Cobra. A buddy of mine had a Cobra like the one you had and it kept blowing up. Although he's kind of hard on cars, his WRX he had before that had 3 motors put in it till he sold it and got this Cobra.

                  i blew up my stock motor when it was n/a, then blew up the fully built motor..but i won't be adding forced induction to the bimmer...just suspension and some minor motor tweaks, if those are possible on bmw's

                      Damn, they build engines shitty now-a-days huh?
                      Sucks what happened to yours.
                      Kid in my school has a fake Saleen S281. Beatest car I have ever seen. And it is still a generic Mustang.
                      I'm rocking the slush-0-matic also. That button underneath is awesome though. :D

                          the factory engines are ok..merely average..but what do you expect? i blew up the forged one because the tune on it was bad and the tuner was a moron.

                          Faleens are lame, mock that kid as much as possible, he's the atypical stang owner.

                          do you mean the kickdown button? i like that thing! it's really fun on the freeway.
