The paint on my e30 is shot, and I want to do a full respray. I am realizing there are a million BMW factory colors. I want something rare, in a bright blue, red, or black. Post up some rare colors, odd, e30 colors!!

We painted a 2001 540i at the shop yesterday that was Japanrot Red. Awesome awesome red and the only time I've ever seen it on a 5 series. I usually don't dig red cars but that thing was bad.__________________

Take a look at BMW paint codes that contain letters in them, those are the ones used with BMW's Individual program and are awful rare.
Also, the newest E90 Individuals have TONS of metallic blacks with reds and blues in them.Reminiscing...Comment

your blues are messed up on the e39 and e90.
I believe the blue on the e39 is LeMans and the e90 is Montego blue.
i think it would be much harder to shoot a car with the newer colors, as BMW is "going green" with their paints and they are all now water based. I dont know if it would be easy to match the paints using normal paints, but good luck finding somebody who can shoot water based paint for a good price.1988 M3, 97 840, 99 XJ

I LOVE the cordobarot, but I don't think I could live with a purple car.
I will be painting the car myself. I have a local guy that mixes PPG Deltron and he knows what he is doing. He can match a color very well. Here is a pic of my e46 bumper. I painted it myself.

Give me some more HoT, metallic, rare colors. Right now I am liking either byzanz or apricot, but the byzanz seems less than stunning in all the other pictures I have found. I should probably go with a blue color since my interior has a blue scheme that I don't feel like changing. The wheels will be the same except they are ti-metallic now. I really want to test my skills with the paint job, not just plain ass schwarz. I want to create something memorable.

I'm going to stick with blue so it will match my interior. Lemans is pulling me in right now, unless someone can post a better blue.
