    front plate holder suggestions??

    Hi,

I just installed a frnot plate holder on my DB's. I have an IS airdam on the car, black color matched bumpers and new paint on trims and black turn signals.
I want to use the space for the plate but I don't want to do the usual German licence plate thing.

I thought of making an aluminum plate, polished and attach a BMW roundel but I'm looking for other suggestions.
    Anybody did something original?

    Thanks

I'd ditch the plate holder since we don't have front plates in PA and find a spare piece of trim for the DB and fill the spot with that so there is a solid piece of trim going across the whole bumper. That's what i'd do if i got another DB car.

I actually tried that since I had a spare impact strip but it is too short, I would basically have to take two piece and somewhat weld them together, which would be a great pain the A**.

I'm thinking something original to fill the spot instead

Cool, I'm exicted for you. It took me a while until I installed mine but it was worth it. I guess the worst is that I had to rebuild all the brackets to install it and it took me quite some time (let me know if you need pics, I have a few that could help if you need to make your own)

I actually thought of having the R3V logo printed on vinyl sticket and apply to a polished aluminum plate cut to the size. I believe we could print the logo here where I work but I'm not sure we do it yet.

Let me know for the fogs

I milled a peice of aluminum and bent it to match the curve in my bumper. Then I got a Euro plate.
