Congratulations, join the effing club, oh wait, you did, then you proceeded to tell us how awesome your car was because ther stickers made it so damn unique. When you put real effort into a car, and can make it really stand out for the craftsmanship and character, like vlad, then you can come a whore your car and get praise. Until then, don't be so full of yourself and your mad-JDM-tyte-yo "style." Go do this stuff to a 240, and maybe you'll get the response you want.

it's not so much a "chip on my shoulder," but more of a pre-emptive strike. since day 1, not many folks on the board had love for my tastes in my choices. i decided to address that issue like i always do.

on the flip side, there's always been my supporters who actually did like my style, and to you i thank.

erick, you've been a good buddy on the boards, and a great supporter, and you know i support your drifting habit. i remember when you first started being out in the open with your drifting passion and all the heat you got from it. now you're getting praise and support, we're in the same situation, except i'm still getting the heat.

i never bothered "building" the motor because i loved the m42. great gas mileage, great pep and the car handled like it was on rails with the spring and shock combo. with being satisfied with its performance, i concentrated on "building" it for aesthetic purposes.

so like i said in my first post, i set out and did what i wanted to do. build a car that a few would love, and the rest would hate.

so please, keep talking about me, you're making me famous.

Its part of the 'accessorized' look. The more stupid shit you can slap onto your car with drywall screws, the cooler it is. Think: teal Ford Explorer with windshield visor, bug deflector, grill guard, headlight covers, side steps, fender flares, hood scoop, mirror tint job, chrome exhaust tip, chromed stock wheels, blown-out suspension, douchebag with his hat sideways, etc.
