      The heaviest E30s were cabrios, they came in over 3000lbs for the manual and more for the auto. The later 325i/is was just over 2800 with a manual and obviously more with an auto...

        Similar power numbers in an E30 vs. E36 and the e30 will be a lot quicker. You don't need FI to be fast, but it's definately one of the cooler options

          the lightest E30s model is the early M10 318i, the M42 powered variant is the second lightest coming in at around 2600# IIRC. Still not heavy by any means.
