    dash install...

Is swapping out a dash a two-man job.
Approximately how long does it take?
If you’ve done it before could you offer any tips + tricks?

i just removed my dash on my 90 with air bags...man, that was a fat PITA! but i think on the pre 1990 cars its not that bad, just be ready to have about 40 screws lying around...

EDIT: that is a really good write-up, i just read it, wish i had read it before i pulled my dash...

I swapped the dash in my 88 325is in One Saturday afternoon but I've pulled 2 other dashes before that. The hardest part I had was with the heater control slider cables.

I may be doing this real soon too. I've got a new dash sitting in my garage. Been sitting there for a year now. Heh..
