I'd like to know why you believe it's not a Euro.

I had an '81 with the exact bumper, spoiler, air dam combo. There is nothing on that car that would indicate that it's anything but a Euro E24...

This car has the appropriate front bumper and air dam, correct rear bumper for pre-6/82 models, and even the rare crazy block of cheese rear spoiler. Not to mention the Recaros, Euro indicator lenses, and close ratio transmission which wasn't even an option on US spec E24s, which were only offered as 630CS, 630CSi, and 633CSi until 1984 when the 635CSi was introduced in the states.

Yeah it was the huge reag bumper that led me to believe it might be a Euro in the making .

But I'm no shark expert , but why have a nice slim Euro front bumper and a big fat chunky rear bumper ?

The rear bumper styling was definitely odd until 6/82 when it was revised... Surprisingly though, the weird rear bumper was stock for 7 years of production!

Interesting fact, the E24 had one of the longest, if not THE longest production run of any BMW, going from 1975 to 1989.
