I think I hear they go for just under a grand(used, low miles)in the E30 M3 world, but no idea what a E21 unit would bring you.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

It should bolt right up to an m20. Probably really valuable to m20 2002 guys.

i just bought one for 1200 and it included a 3.45 lsd. do you know you can have a 320i bellhousing machined so you can run it on a 4cyl like an m10 or an s14? mines installed in my m2 now.

I'd be shifting too much w/ the turbo me thinks. so, 800 would be fair?

The e21 four banger CR trannies sell for between $1500 to $2500. They are looked after by the 2002 crowd. I happen to have one and it is great for the track. Then the Euro 5 CR from the e30 M3 is also sought after, and sells around $1000 in good shape.

Some early e30 323s were available with the 5 CR. Those trannues are not the same as the ones from the e21 323s as the former has no provision for the mechanical speedo pick-up. 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder trannies are not interchangeable as the blocks have different bolt patterns.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.
