Oh well, shit happens. Fresh block with 2.7 crank and Seta pistons about to go together, props to Teaguer. Waiting on a fucking thrust bearing from Germany. I'm mainly pissed cause I was nearly done with the M2.

No fun, I had the same thing happen, but lil worse last weekend.

Same thing happened to me in Corner 8 of Tremblant last summer. I have a friend who makes hydraulic lines. We put together a 3 quart Accusump kit, including remote oil filter, large B&M oil cooler, braided steel lines, and all the necessary fittings. The full kit cost me around $400, which is cheap insurance to protect a nice engine and save a track weekend.

If you're interested in a kit, PM me and I can give you his contact info. I'll never again run an M20 (or any other engine for that matter) on the track without an oil accumulator of some kind.

BTW, mine hapened in the first session of the first day of a 3-day weekend. I was instructing, so I had to spend the full 3 days there...and keep paying for hotels, food, etc. even though I couldn't drive
