    High emitter profile ?!

Last year due to change of ownership when I purchased it.

    15mph; 1716rpm; %CO2 meas 14.6; %O2 meas 0.2; HC Max 148, Ave 41, Meas 49; CO% Max 0.89, Ave 0.13, Meas 0.19; NO Max 1191, Ave 399, Meas 455.

    25mph; 2831rpm; %CO2 meas 14.5; %O2 meas 0.1; HC Max 123, Ave 29, Meas 18; CO% Max 0.69, Ave 0.11, Meas 0.05; NO Max 1021, Ave 332, Meas 528.

Today for renewal (Inspection reason says "high emitter profile"), haters.

    15mph; 1752rpm; %CO2 meas 14.5; %O2 meas 0.0; HC Max 148, Ave 41, Meas 19; CO% Max 0.89, Ave 0.13, Meas 0.02; NO Max 1191, Ave 399, Meas 527

    25mph; 2825rpm; %CO2 meas 14.4; %O2 meas 0.0; HC Max 123, Ave 29, Meas 13; CO% Max 0.69, Ave 0.11, Meas 0.03; NO Max 1021, Ave 332, Meas 630.

So, what made the NO #'s go up, but the CO% and HC go down ?

From what I've read, that would be due to a lean mixture. HC and CO mean rich, so if you have a vacuum leak, it could lower those and raise NOx.

I went through a lot of shit to pass emissions... I know it can be a bitch.

looking at the numbers it would be a lean condition which means air is being sucked in after your AFM so its a leak of some sort...spray brake clean around your intake boots and listen for a bump in the rpm

Got it, it passed so I was just trying to over analyze the results I guess. :)

TB to AFM boot is new, along with valve cover gasket and return hose. Vacuum advance hose is new also, so possibly TB gasket or something else. Not going to worry about it right now though.
