Sooo I step out of my car, close my door (I do not slam the door, just close it like I usually do.) And suddenly I hear a crack. Followed by the gorgeous sight of my drivers side window slowly fragmenting and then beautifully falling to the ground. The entire damn window busted. I don't know how. All I know is that its a pain in the ass. Anyone EVER had that sort of thing happen, because it baffles me. I honestly didn't slam it, and the window had no signs of damage whatsoever. O well. Junkyard for 4 door window.

My rear window on my S4 shattered randomly. I think it has a lot to do with hot/cold.
I've also heard rear winshields can shatter because electric defroster gets stuck on when the car's off.sigpic

I am near positive that I didn't see a single crack while it was up. Could have been misaligned when I was messin around under the door panel with the guide rail thingys on the window motor. But I don't slam it with my belt either. It was balmy 70 degrees outside. I guess it was either old age or maybe misaligned.
