      awesome!!!!!!!
One day I hope to take my e30 project to the Ring.
Would you mind giving us a rough estimate of what this trip cost you?
Shipping car, the school itself, etc. I would like to do this within the next few years.
I don't think your mom appreciates the value of those modifications

                Nice and extremely comprehensive.

I also would like to know the (package) price of a BMW training.

Glad you guys liked the trip report ;)

I sure liked the trip!!!! :D

As for the cost - it´s 1200 euros to take part in the driving course.
Included are 2 dinners and 3 lunches. The web page for the training
is http://www.fahrerlehrgang.info/ - they will probably get their english
page up again - don´t know why it´s not up.

The cost of a double hotel room is approx. 80-90 euros, I recommend
Ringhaus (www.ringhaus.com) - the location cannot be beat and the
staff is great. Very helpful bunch of people ;)

You also need some euros for gas - you use ALOT of it.

I have no idea what it costs to ship a car from the US. I paid approx.
1000 dollars for the return trip.

If you guys are seriously thinking about going and driving on the Ring
you should go to www.nurburgring.org and read EVERYTHING there -
especially the trip reports. It will help you to get a feel for the place
                    and know what to expect.

The Ring is a dangerous place and should be respected.
Here is a clip from my infamous lap - probably my biggest "oh s_h_i_t" moment
                    to date at the Ring:

I was lucky there - could have ended in tears.

Vlad: Yes the babe was driving the car.... I guess your babes don´t drive :D
Eric: The guy on the picture is Andrew Mulholland - he drives a black CSL.

just spent a good hour reading through the entire journal and watching a lot of the videos. By far you have the most entertaining and astounding video/photo journals. Thanks again for a very epic thread.
