    power, lack of

WHAT SORT OF PROBLEMS WOULD ROB POWER? I HAVE AN 84 318I WITH THE M10, DONT LAUGH. i DROVE IT DOWN THE STREET TODAY WITH NO WINDOWS YET LOL AND IT HAD SHIT PICK UP. I HAVE NO CAT, CUSTOM EXHAUST 2.5" AND COLD AIR INTAKE ALONG WITH LONG TUBE HEADERS, SO AIR FLOW ISNT A PROB. COULD SOMETHING SMALL LIKE AN 02 SENSOR GOING BAD OR FUEL FILTER DIRTY CAUSE LOW POWER? JUST WONDERING WHAT OBVIOUS THINGS I SHOULD BE LOOKING AT. SORRY FOR THE CAPS, JUST NOTICED AND I AM NOT RETYPING ALL THIS again. cheers guys!
and please dont tell me its an m10, it has no power, because i know this car should have more pickup then it does.

The huge 2.5" exhaust might actually be giving too much free-flowing movement of the exhaust gases, basically resulting in less low-end grunt.

Are you sure that cold air intake is really a cold air intake? Or just a cone? You could be heat washing the cone with the radiator heat, robbing you of even more power.

I am willing to bet the long tube headers don't help with the low-end either.

Does the engine sound like it's firing normally?

      m10.

      It's missing 4 cylinders.

ouch :P Id have to agree though, no matter what unless you have a GINORMOUS turbo setup on it, 2.5" is a little on the big side for an m10. :) Maybe though. I dunno if my 2.5" exhaust for my m20 will be small enough to make the best use of back pressure. Maybe after I stroke it.

There is such a thing as too much exhaust on too little an engine..just around that point when your exhaust has a wider diameter than your i4's engine cylinders......That and caps lock robs power. :P

            PS; post 100. Hoo-ah.
