      Granted , but I discounted the Z8 because I didn't think it was really a "mass produced" car .
      PLus the E39 M5 was out before the Z8 .

              cool, i never realized that they had mass produced v8's for anything, learn something every day. Did they possibly put them in the 8series? because a guy at my church has one, and sounds close

                  True. I always take the term "mass produced" in the sence that it's produced for the masses so any joe blow can buy one. Not necessarily huge numbers. I won't count the E46 M3 GTR that runs the S62 since that's basically a track car and something you can't find at a dealership ;)
