No there are people who have chrome ones. There was a guy on raodfly called KC Ron Carter who had them. He supposedly lives about 10 miles from me but I never met up with him to see them in person.

Only seen them on one other car on the net and never on the street or in the yards..

I thought maybe it was an option, but my window sticker doesn't say anything about wheels :?

This guy had his chromed. I doubt it was ever a option, bling wasnt popular back then.

I think it was an option. I've seen several e30s with chrome bottlecaps on the road. I think 'Rayz' had chrome ones that he painted black in the center too.
