I just went down to Lime Rock, CT to watch some of the practicing/qualifying for this weekend's races. I had a great time and took a few pictures, a few of which I thought you guys might like.
I took a lot of close up pictures and very few pictures of whole cars. Sorry if I got just a small part of what you wanted to see.

The Audi RS6 cars were very fast. Last year I saw the S4's in the rain and the AWD blew all the other cars away.

They're having the first Formula BMW event this weekend so I got to see them practicing. They are very similar in concept to the Formula Dodge except they use a BMW motorcycle engine.

Turner Motorsport had a M1 on display and I got a picture of the interior. It looks like an E21!

One of the most surprising things about the M1 was how simple it was. The Engine bay wasn't cluttered with all sorts of gizmos, it was just a big beefy 3.5 liter straight six.

A picture of the Turner Tent.

A Turner 325 just after No-Name straight.

Definitely the highlight of the day. I would have liked to see it put through its paces on the track but I can understand why they wouldn't want to take any risks with this car!

My best picture of the day.
