Dyno Test of Treated vs. Untreated Cam Rockers,
Cam Followers and Rocker Shafts
Dyno 3 - Speed Performance Research
1. Vw Engine Test 4/27/05
* Restrictor Plates
* VW Race Engine Baseline 60HP,
* Test performed twice on 2 separate Engines with restrictors present
* 5 Hp increase evident in both tests
* Static coefficient improved by 40 percent
Dyno 2 - Performed by JDM Engineering
Vehicle Tested:
1. 2005 Mustang GT
# Increase of 7 - 9 Rear Wheel HP and 6 - 10 Ft Lbs Torque increase
2. 1998 Camaro Modified 409 CID LS1 Engine w/4:10 Differential Gear Set
* Increase of 7 Rear Wheel HP and 8.6 Ft Lbs Torque
* Ran Smoother and Quieter
* Decrease in differential temperature of 30 degrees F.

Not sure what this process costs, plus the labor, but I think there is cheaper HP to be found.
This is one of those things that you do on the final steps to reducing frictional/rotational mass/etc. Remove weight/basic mods before something like this should even be slightly thought about unless money is simply not an issue.PNW Crew

or a diff rebuild. its something I would do if you wanted to rebuild your LSD or regear. When I rebuild the front AND rear diffs on my jeep i'm going to do them at the same time and I will have all the spider gears and the ring & pinion done with this. or i could save the $1200 to do that and put the money towards a down payment on a Trailblazer SS haha but i love this thing so much.
