cant get damn sunroof re installed

I removed it to get it painted, i went to re install and one of the damn cables is now for some reason longerthen the other and parts wont line up. It is a crank sunroof if that helps., please help, i need this back in. any other hints or tips on re installing greatly appreciated!

There is a guy on bimmerforums that has done this many of times he even did a write up. I cant find it for some reason but he goes by the name X mon. Shoot him a PM and he will help you out. Good Luck
