    3.33i

My girlfriend went to south Africa this summer, and she said she saw a car like mine in a show room, but looked alpina turns out that in 1985 SA motorsport made a 450hpp 3.33i it was a turbocharged 7.33i engin. 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. heres a picture i found online.

worst part is that they only made about 200 of these cars. 5 of which are in the uk, and most of the others were used for racing in SA

the 333i wasnt turbocharged but was an Alpina/BMW SA venture. Alpina goodies including rims, dash mounted Alpina gauges, M30 engine, etc. VERY VERY cool cars. I assume that if it was turboed from the factory, itd be called the 345i like the turboed E23 7 series was.

Stock it wasn't turboed, just an M30 @ 197 bhp. The version you are referring to is one of the UK ones that was imported and tuned by someone.

SA also had a 745i that had an M88 in it
