    quick question for the interior

Im deatailing the interior of my car.

Took out the seats today, knob, both boots, 4 window switches, both ashtrays.

I want to make this thing spotless inside, including the nooks and crannies with dirt!
I noticed to take out the center center peice ( the one with the Ebrake) there are 2 very small bolts. one under the shifter boot and the other one is under the rear ashtray when u take it out.

What size bolt are those? I have alot of little sockets laying around but cant find the right one, so i might have to get one. And will i need an adapter cuase it wont fit the regular ratchet.

I dont think im going to take of the other part of the consol ( one before the Ebrake with the shifter) but how would u get that one off?

    thanks

    10mm

You may need a deepwell to clear the stud.

      thanks man

but what is a deepwell and what is a stud? u can laugh at me if u want lol.

and for the bolt size isnt that kinda big? im not doubting u or anything but those bolts are very tiny? I used the 10mm socket the other day casue i was trying to take the glove box apart since the latch is broke. It looks like the bolts for the glove box would be about 5 times bigger than the 2 holding the consel piece in?

deep well is a deep socket.

the stud is the bolt/screw the nut is screwed onto!

        and yes, it is 10mm.

I'd say Jordan's being pretty patient. Schneider left the pocket open.
