      M-technik-3,
yes, would need it ship to Los Angeles Int'l (LAX).
trucking it from east coast would meke things very exoensive. it is far more efficient by airfreight.

if you were going to bring half of a 20' then sea freight would be way of choice, NYC has a huge port that can handle that, but trucking it to MA won't be cheap.

for 15 years imp/exported heavy construction machinery from Europe to NYC and used Consolidated Freightways to ship by truck from coast to coast., basically they offer 50% off listed prices as long as you open an account.

if you guys need any help with logistics let me know.

      this is what i brought on last shipment, 8' x 5' x 4' box.
need a rear m tech 1 bumper or euro bumper and an m tech 2 front spoiler and a few nostalig skateboards from late 70's early 80's :)

m tech 2 for my cabrio and an m tech 1 front bumper and spoiler

m tech 1, 2 rear aprons (1 missing bumper), 2 sets of side skirts (flat and up to wheel arch's type)

      m tech 2 steering wheel

h&H coilover kit, k macc c/c plates & off center rear cntrl arm bushings, can't wait to install them.

FK loweing springs and Schacs shocks, (1 leaked out)

I havent been looking at the board lately. I would like to get some body parts for my car. I would like to get M-tech II front bumper only, But since its so damn tough to find late style front valance I would take a euro front valance (for the 89+) with the filled in upper vent. Those are probably the only things I am interested in at the moment. Im in MD so an east coast pallet would be great. What prices are we looking at for ellips? I may just do the H4 conversion in the meantime.

Yea if you can find one. The shipping might be a bitch, but if you can find out how much that would be. There is only one late model parts car at the local junk yards around here. Not much left of that one. Ive got my front plastic bumper on now with the old style valance and it looks pretty shotty.

                Customs Broker: $280
Tarrifs: $8 (because Jon declared the value of the parts to be WAY low, which helped it get through customs in 1.5 days).
So I'd imagine it'd be about $700 for shipping including all shipping costs and customs brokerage.
So how much did each person have to pay once their pieces arrived? Or am I missing something? Trying to see how cost effective an M-Tech II kit would be for me, but mine would have to be in diamantswharz...

BBS RS wheels an option Greg? Looking for them in 16x7.5...
                Reminiscing...

I changed this thread to Greg's Pallet, and I started another one for Jons pallet in the General Discussion area.

Regarding the shipping costs, they were proportional to total amount of parts bought. Thus someone who bought a lot of stuff would pay the most for shipping.

Alright I am a little confused now.

Who are we getting parts from? Greg or Jon?

Who is running this thing? Is Jon not sending parts or are they going on Greg's pallet?

                    :?

Well when I mentioned that I would be doing a final mega shipment I kinda booted Ken off of his own thread.

Ken will be getting stuff from Jon. while I could use some of Jons access to some parts I will not pay to ship stuff twice. Beside the dollar is taking a worse beating against the British Pound.

Jon is Ken's contact not mine I have plenty in Germany and myself. You take you pick it doesn't matter.

So, how much for an mtech2 kit for convertibles?

Will it be more for a convertible than other?

Well I started this thread to see if anybody would want to work with Jon to get another pallet going, but it quickly turned into a thread about the pallet that Greg will be importing (which is fine). Thus I switched the title and this is now a thread about Greg's importation of parts. I made a new thread for anybody interested in getting a pallet shipped from Jon.
                          Sorry for the confusion.
