Ran across this at the boneyard :

So I run across this thing at the junkyard a few weeks ago :

So I'm thinking "Damn ! What the hell happened to this Eta?!" .
Could not have been much of a race/track car as it was stock with the exception of the exhaust being cut-off and a cheesy homemade ram-air set up .

So I look up the website that is plastered huge as hell on the sides, pyropunks.com .

Well , seems like our lowly 4-door Eta was recently a star in local stunt shows :

Guess that last pics clears up what the board screwed to the dash is all about . :p

HERES a video of or sad little Eta in all its former glory performing in the stunt show .
And some 2-wheel practice action HERE .
Dare I say this is the best use of an Eta yet ? (sorry Josh)

Also while I'm on the boneyard them .....are these spacers stock on Porsche hubs ?

            dood!

You can't be serious, can you?

Driveshaft is above the aluminum heat shield, and if you look closely, the diff is there- you can clearly see the left side axle shaft going to the left rear wheel.

They did hack off the exhaust just in front of the cat- that's about all that's missing under there....

            Nice find Teabagger!!! ;)

Maybe I can resurrect it and enter it in the CNB Ring of Furry . :p
That is after I source a d-shaft and diff .

Now that would really be a sordid life .

Thats a resurection story on par with the old 50/60's gassers returning to their former glory. Sadly, I say this one is more along the lines of a 24Lemons car.

those spacers are on all of them I am pretty sure. I found a set a few years ago, took them off, and they are still sitting in my garage with no use.

its got the lightweight edition spare tire well to boot.

You can be sure the car has a working LSD in there. Might as well grab that.
