    In ohio yes but I doubt if you needed them they would give a shit. Also, studded are illegal in Ohio too.

    I asked about chains. I am in the country back home and we don't have the best snow service and I was told by a highway patrolman that they really don't give a shit about chains because if they are being used, there is a reason.

      I know around here their not. And studded snow tires are allowed Dec-Apr. IIRC

          No, many times through the winter chains are required going over the Passes here in WA.
