E36 325iC and 328iC are now in the 6-11K range that is why we don't recommend spending that much. But if the car is that clean it might be worth the haggling to get it into the 5100-5700 range.
I spent $8500 on mine which is auto, 97k original kms(kms not miles). imported from japan so its euro everything, super clean. rare cloth interior(its a grey plaid pattern) its a 91' 320i(can't even get that model in US for an e30)

1. Cloth interior is rubbish in a cabrio (hence why most pay the high premium for leather).
2. 320i is the most useless motor ever put in an e30: power of a 4 banger consumption of a 6.
3. you overpaid.
<3 reality.

Because it is....It gets worse mileage and a typical M42 will out accelerate it. Sorry but it's the truth. The good thing about yours is that it is the later version so at least it gained 7 more hp over the older 2.0L M20.
We are happy that you love your Vert, but we all have opinions and aholes so take our opinion with a grain of salt.
