    Sunroof issues....

My sunroof became hard to close and would catch on one side. After a little force and breaking the plastic piece of the handle I got it to close.

Is there something that typically happens to the sunroof that causes this? Any writeups out there on how to fix?

I bought a new handle but I want to fix the problem before I put it on and break another one.

    Thanks in advance,

    Doug

Well, I think it was a pretty good answer, especially since it may have been covered already.

Some people have lives that keep them very busy and do not have the time nor patience to type out an answer to the same question 50 million times. Especially for people who are too lazy to search for a topic that may have already been covered in length.

On that note, I'm never to busy to try and answer a question. I had the same problem with mine, but ended up shearing the gears off the crank. Anyway, I was able to get the roof open enough to see that there was peice of debri in the track that the sunroof follows, so I would take a quick gander and check that first. While I was at it I regreased the tracks with whatever the guys at the dealership recomended, I forgot what it was off the top of my head, but I think its the same stuff that would be used on power antennaes? Anyway, made a world of difference.

        good luck.

Woah, no need to get your panties in a bunch dude. Sure you can search, but this is not a widely talked about topic. Most topics when you search will come up with some type of leak question.

Calm down, there's no need for a search police.
