    Engine go kaboom soon. :)

Most of the guys I know with Vettes cringe at the thought of putting a turbo on their motor. They all want blowers that stick through the hoods, etc. But I do live in North Carolina.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

Got this crap from that website, Lateral-G.net..
      Car on the dyno
They say it makes 800hp but I would expect something like a 8x turbo LS1 to make tons more than that...
The site said well over 800hp.

      Sold it.

I imagine that he's not running a lot of pressure on each of those things, to preserve the engine a li'l ---- but I also imagine that the power curves on that thing are absolutely flat --- just power from start to finish, no spikes like a li'l VW 1.8T w/ a T4, y'know?

I dunno - I mean, that Bugatti Veyron has 4 turbos and 16 cylinders - I'd say that's pretty well-designed --- so why not add a couple turbos to compensate for the missing cylinders :D ?

Anyway, 1 big turbo requires a lot more air to get moving than 2 smaller ones -- so the same would hold true for 8 small turbos vs 2 bigger ones....

That way, you're never off boost
There's a limitation to your argument which is valid to a degree... with one turbo per cylinder you're getting an exhaust pulse instead of a more continuous flow of exhaust to spool up the turbo.

i've seen this posted all over the net. and everybody always either says "wow thats awsone" or "that guy has all money and no brains, it is stuipit" or some thing to that extent. this guy didn't build it to go along with the "more it better" philiosophy. It was build to be different. i have seen many turboed tri-5 chevys, this was build as an eye catcher, had he done just a simple twin turbo, do you thing that this would get any of the attention that this has gotten?

Fair enough - we're reaching the limits of my turbocharging knowledge at this point :D
