I mean stack gauges and Sparco seats? I wonder how much else on that car is off the rack. Probably brakes. If it is made up of off the rack parts I should at least be pretty cheap.
I'm not impressed by every shiny, carbon fiber-covered, supercharged, low slung, menacing looking supercar that rolls off the assembly line.
I am. Hahahaha.
Seriously tho, the reason that it 'looks like every other supercar' is because a mid to large mid-engine car is somewhat limited designwise because of the layout.
BTW, these specs not being THAT great are compaired to OTHER supercars. But those other supercars also a lot higher priced than this car should be. If it is using a 2.8L V6 with turbos, it will probably be someone ELSE's motor, most likely a Ford. The Noble, that someone else has already mentioned this car looks, like uses that configuration and a slew of other 'off the shelf' parts. It comes in at about $75,000 US. 0-60 in 3.7sec, 0-100 in 8.8, 1/4 mile in 11.9sec. It also weighs about 2400lbs. Below is a link to d/l a vid of the Noble. You can see what the car can do, and although it is no Enzo or Carrera GT, it also won't hit you as hard in the wallet. To be able to get this type of performance from a car that costs LESS than $100K is amazing. If you want to slam the car for having a cheap, race inspired interior go ahead. But the car is all business. And it will blow the doors off of cars that costs hundreds of thousands more that SAY they were built for the track. The Farbound and the Noble ARE built for the track.
