m60 no compression

i can get a m60b40 that doesnt compress on cy. 2
Is it the nikasil problem? It was in usa

Didnt Bimmer warranty those engines? I know jag still doesn't recognise this as a problem in the US even though it is.

well the engine isn't in a car, can i get a new one that way?

Kinda weird if it will wear out on one cy.

Dont think you can get a new one that way. Whaqt compression are you getting out of the other cylinders?

i dont know, i will be asking the guy soon, but he says that his compression is low on cy 2 :/ but other ones are fine

They only warrantied for a certain period of time correct? I am looking at a 95 530iT for short money and owner says it has had it's engine swapped already.

Could just be headgasket or it might be the valves and or warped heads
