    New Battery?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I need a real quick answer. My beater 85 325e needs a battery. Can I get just any car battery from Wal-Mart just as long as it fits in the battery box? Thanks

im pretty sure you can just put any battery in. but i would say that you should use the wal-mat battery for only a short period of time. If you can afford it I'd say get an optima dry cell battery
    sigpicE30's are fun!!

The brand of battery is up to you but get the one that is intended for your car.

need one that has the negative terminal towards the rear outside of the car or the ground lead won't reach.

I've been running an orbital sealed dry type battery for 6 monts. Faster starts for sure.

Do not buy a BMW battery... they are really, really bad.

I'd personally do Interstate [or Optima].

i just grabbed a random battery we had in our shop, i picked the biggest one that would fit. I ended up with a deep cycle heavy duty diesel battery. 1025cca
