Has anyone used RaceTEP for engine work?

I just realized that racetep is about 20 miles away from me and was curious if anyone has had any experience (aside from cams) with their engine/machining work. Since they're so local, I'm thinking about having them rebuild my head for me.

Anyone have any experience with them?

    Thanks!

    Thats Top End Performance .

I know several 02 and E21 owners that have had machine work done there and they are happy .

I know several people who have bought things from them (mostly cams as you mentioned). I also know that several of these people had unpleasant experiences with the owner (or one of the owners...). Same guy seems to have a reputation for flying off the handle with no provocation.

I guess the best thing to say is: tread lightly and hope you don't have any problems/questions and you should be OK. Too bad really, because they seem to have some nice products and do some nice work.

I had them rebuild an M10 head for my 2002 when I was in high school. I was very happy with their service and prices.
