Tested the 325is at the strip

I'm very pleased with the results, best out of 2 runs 14.46 @ 96.19mph

    Temp. at 83
    Humidity around 26 - 29

My car is not intercooled, needs a clutch and a nice set of tires.

I think its safe to say the car is in the high 13s maybe mid 13s after i pump it to 12psi, and install the above mentioned, i cant wait. :)

I had to upload the video to my lycos host, because WTDR was being gay and wouldnt let me finish uploading the file, so im not sure how well lycos gonna work.

On a side note, there was an E46 M3 making some passes there too, best i saw was 14.1, i would've loved to race with him, and see his face when he saw an e30 hanging there on his tail :D

Sounds like great fun, there's nothing like reaping the fruits of your own labor :)
The video can't be downloaded, perhaps if you put up a link to the clip on your main page?

Hmm, no the movie is an .avi not .mov

That picture was taken to see how the IC fits, when that pic was taken the intercooler wasnt finished yet. :(

                that thing looks quick!

each gear u hit looks like u turned on a jet booster or something. the way it jumped into each gear was cool.

Properly driven E46's run high 12's/low 13's, I've seen mid 12's once (stock).
Glad you had fun at the strip though. On another note, I've seen stock E36 325's run mid-14's. ;)

Stefan got 14.1 with only 6psi, I think you could get into the high 13´s with only a better launch

he did not have a LSD but ok tires, and he´s very familiar with the car, owned for 7years now :)

                        Good run

Yeah, considering i was launching around 3,000 - 3,500rpms, god i wish i had a camera mounted inside the car. I was afraid to get too much wheelspin, plus my tires are shitty Falkens.

what are you running for fuel/engine management?

                            what about ignition?

SMT6 but for some reason when i tamper with the analog map the engine kinda cuts off. I'm about to ditch the smt6 and save up for a microtech.
