Hey guys-
well, I havn't told many people, but I bought a 325E as a daily driver.
I did this so my M3 can be a weekend only car. This lowered my insurance a bunch and took a load off my chest not having to drive my M3 everyday.
So, I bought this '85 325E. It needs a paintjob and some minor dents taken out, but overall its solid. No rust, good glass, nice black leather interior, OBC, Alpine stereo with 4 ch. amp, 15" WED Wheels with old Yoko slicks and only 150k miles.
I have bought a LOT of parts for this car, and I am ready to make a large overhaul on it in this upcomming week.
I have bought the following tune-up parts for it:
Dist cap and rotor
Wr9c BOSCH plugs
it has 7MM BMW Wires that are faily new already, so ignition system is handled.
I got a whole new cooling system: thermostat, waterpump, hoses, radiator, expantion tank/cap, and BMW Coolant to top it off.
It needs a new clutch, so I got a pressure plate/disc/TO/master and slave cyl's to make it a totally new system.
I got a set of M3 springs to lower it down a bit as I hate the 4x4 stance of the stock height. I got a set of new rear swaybar links to replace the tired origonal ones.
I also invested in a new A/C reciever/drier, ATE superblue racing fluid, and a valvecover gasket as preventive measures.
I tucked the bumpers and redied the seats. So far, its looking like a nice little daily driver. I just need 20 hours to install all my new parts... wish life could slow down for that long!!
so far, the car looks like this:

Here is most of the new parts I got... the M3 springs/radiator/cap/rotor are in my garage...

I got the car cheap, and I knew it would need some work, so I was ok spending all the money on these parts. I am about $700 down on parts, and the car cost me a bit less than that, so I am doing alright. The car is fun, and will be great once I replace all these parts.
I will do updates on the car as I get it all fixed up.
