What do you end up doing with the shells? Do you have to pay for a wreaker to take them?

The local wrecking yard comes and tows the shell away for scrap, and I just have to pay $45 for the tow truck.

They used to pay like $100 for the scrap, but they stopped a few years ago, I don't know why.

One more question - where do you find these wrecked e30? I'd love to find a wreaked e34 to pull the motor out of - any advice?
