    New BMW Isetta?

I think it'd be a cool commuter car for my 3.5 mile drive to the office and back.

I'd love to have one as the gas saver. Now if only insurance for one car (let alone two) would not be so damn expensive!

E30s are cheap to insure. I think I pay about $50/month for mine.

Would be a sweet daily. The insurance I have isn't HORRID. For my age etc. I would like it to be alot lower, but oh well. its around 170 for 3 cars. My 2002 and turbo only have liability and are 2nd cars, but my eta has full coverage. I don't think thats too crazy for a almost 20 year old male..

My first car was a 1958 Isetta 300 convertible. One- cylinder, four-speed on the left wall, 55 MPH wide open downhill. Wish I had it now!!!!

They'll release it in 2015, it'll weigh 3800 lbs and sticker at 50k.

Swing wild, brake later, don't apologize.

I pay $100/month, with a clean record, on PIP only. That's for the 4dr "automatic with ABS" '89 pictured in my sig. I know the fact I'm 21 has something to do with it.

I havent been able to drive the vert yet for the very reason that I cannot afford the monthly insurance payments on both cars together. (even though the turbo car sees no more than 200 miles/month).

That thing would probably get 45+ miles a gallon, maybe even more

its discouraging to see that by the time we get a nice fuel efficient car in the works, The price is through the roof and its overcomplicated by creature comforts.......
