    How do I wipe and reformat the C: drive again? I forget, it's been a while.

        yep u just have to reconfigure your hardrive.....

        we have 5 computers at my house on a network... well minus 1 cause my mom just droped the laptop and smashed the network card lol

          FDisk in DOS, delete the partition then re create it. Pop in a bootable copy of Window XP Corp and off you go.

            I don't have it partitioned, so I guess I can just let XP do it's thing when I pop it in.

              give it a try, usually when you do that it installs a totally separate version of XP. Even though you don't have your Hard Drive partitioned in to separate partitions, you have to delete and re-create the single partition.

              DOS is quite out dated, see if you can find a copy of Partition Magic 7.0 (very user friendly)

                Before you do all this shit, borrow good RAM from someone and swap it out. I built several systems using Kingston RAM a while back that would freeze after a few minutes of operation. Swapping out the RAM for tested good sticks fixed the problems right up. No amount of rebooting, reformatting, or anything will fix a bad stick of RAM.
