Totalled my car this night :'( <Updated>

Friday night some dumbasses hit my car (with a speed of 60mph) in the side of my E30
so the point is : broken nose, lots of pain and a wrecked E30 :roll:

I came from my work and drove out town on a two lane road, (with a curb between each lane) and I took the left corner and another car came with high speed (60mph) and
jumped over the curb and hit me in the side .
The perpetrator didn't know there was a corner and was playing with his cell phone :x

I hate that, my car was almost new and 43k mls :roll:

I was at the towing company this morning and he told me that I was a lucky guy with a strong car, it was impossible with a japanese car

anyhow you have one life live it, it can stop each day

My brother got T-boned just like that in a car that looked just like that one. The girl that hit him was going 35mph and he said it didn't even pohase him. His accident was his fault cause he pulled out in front of her because he saw her turn signal on, but she did not turn. Boy are these cars safe.

Believe me an E30 is really strong
I'm so happy that I've took the E30 and not the CRX

and I've still confidence in my Cirrusblue Mtech :D

anyhow who is looking for parts, the 324d is confiscated by the insurance company
but i'll buy him back soon as possible

how fixable is it?

if it wont cost you much, you should definately fix it.

dosen't look like there could be too much engine damage. maybe the motor mounts shoudl be checked.

keep us posted on what you plan to do.

ps.-how much $ is the ins. giving you?

IMO the car isn't fixable, the doors on the right side won't close anymore
the chassis is too much warped and the B-pillar is ripped out
engine side everything is still fine
I'm gonna part the car out
he was in nearly new condition

I've driven the car up on the towing truck by myself
and if I could I've driven it home

I hope that the ins will pây me $3000
and that I could buy the wreck back for $200
