Ive also heard a good swap is the Dodge Cummins Diesel engine with the allison transmission. why the hell would you want to put a bmw engine in a bmw?? thats just ludicrous.
Correction, by doing so you will achieve ludicrous speed and then go plaid.
The only motor that fits is something from the GM family of v8's.
I vote for the Ford small-block. They are physically smaller. That means that there is more room for a larger selection of powerbands. The red ones are for top speed.
Still havent seen proof of this.. unless I missed your thread, when are you going to finish that car?
Currently pretty busy with alot of things, still building the shed that it's currently inside. Oh, and when i find a bit more money :p Took some detailed photos last night of the possible fitment issues with the t56 so i'll post them up later on, just so people can refer back to it.
