    Hey guys,

I've been mostly lurking here and at BF.c for a while and I figured I would go ahead and introduce myself. I bought an '89 325is this past June for a pretty good price. The PO's car domain page can be found here. When he sold it to me, it was t-boned on the passenger side and looked like this. At the moment it is in the body shop at a local vocational school being fixed for free. I'm paying for materials (paint and clear coat mostly), of course. I should be getting the car back this Wednesday and after a thorough clay bar and wax I'll be posting some before and after pictures.

Anyway, I've done a few minimal things to the car since I got it.
    • The rice lights have been swapped out in favor of some professionally smoked OEM tails.
    • The CAI has been repositioned and is now located near the ground, behind the brake duct
    • Replaced the control arms and added M3 bushings
    • Removed the Tornado in the intake boot. Why would anyone use one of those?

In the future, I'm looking to
    • Get some HIDs. 5000k or 6000k low beams and fogs
    • Replace the clutch (it starts to slip during "spirited" driving)
    • Re-upholster the seats
    • Get a New Paint Job (PO bought it from a lady who had it done at a MAACO, clear coat is peeling pretty bad on the roof, the lip spoiler is cracking because no flex agent was used, they didn't tape or remove the pinstriping, etc.). I plan on keeping it Schwartz.
I'm not very mechanically experienced, so I will probably be asking a lot of stupid questions, but I'll make sure I search first. I'd like to do the clutch on my own, but I don't have the confidence or experience to try that by myself, so if anybody who knows what they're doing wants some free beer and some steaks, I'd really appreciate the help. I'm also planning on selling the sound system (subs and amp) but I would be willing to give it away in exchange for some help with the clutch. I'm in Central PA, by the way.

Sorry for the long post. Pictures will added soon.

Sorry to disappoint, I'm a dude.

Some pictures (of my car) can be found here: http://profile.imageshack.us/user/spee

They were all taken around the time I got the car, so I don't have any of the passenger side other than the one I linked earlier. I also hadn't swapped the tail lights out when they were taken, so you will see the rice lights.

DAMN! I like it. Even with the ebay tails. (I can say that because I know you fixed them)
