Effects of a Bad Guibo

whats the signs of a bad guibo? i have bad vibration in the lower RPMs, but other than that, its fine. there's a small amount of shredding on the actual guibo itself but nothing too bad.

I knew my guibo and CSB were shot because of a nice little thump thump thump sound as I would accelerate and would disappear at about 25 mph. But if there's any shredding of your guibo it means it's time to replace. You should probably also get the CSB while you're in there.

Well, as at gets worse you could be looking at more things you might need to replace . Center Support Bearing is one, guide bushing at the front of the drive shaft, and if it all fails then could damage your shifter components too....

Better to get it fixed before it gets worse imho.

Replace it.Where is the shredding?
could be a U-joint as well.

Im getting the thud sounds too but its only in 1st gear under harder acceleration. Is guibo damage supposed to be felt through all the gears?
